hao.made originated from the love of design through thoughtful storytelling. hao.made candles derivated from the same vein by creating scents that evoke a life’s journey. Each candle is hand poured per order in a small Chicago studio. As the brand develops, we believe the scents will continue to mature as well. Hao is a northern California-native, currently residing in Chicago, Illinois. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. hao.made (candles) is a passion of his, as he follows his purpose as an Interior Architectural Designer. Hao is also passionate about material health and wellness, thus hao.made candles will feature healthy and clean ingredients. lastly, limited-edition candles are offered that will benefit LGBTQ- focused or Asian American non-profit organizations.

Each candle is made from 100% vegan soy wax with CleanScents oils that avoid harmful fragrance chemicals. Soon, shipping will be carbon neutral.
